NGK sponsored race ace, Charlie Martin has continued her fine start to the 2021 season. Charlie and Team Driverse made their debut in ADAC GT4 Germany and after having to retire in the first race at the meeting in Oschersleben secured a third place in the second race in the Trophy class. The result marked Charlie’s first podium finish in only her second race in the series.

After the race she said, “Firstly I’d like to say a huge thank you to all of the team, I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved this weekend. Yesterday didn’t go according to plan but we kept our heads high and came back today determined to have a much better result. As a new team, to finish on the podium in our first weekend of competition is just amazing. We’re still learning our way and know where we can improve but we’ve worked so hard to get ourselves on the grid and prove what’s possible so I’m over the moon. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the season has in store for us!”

Mark Hallam, Marketing Manager, NGK Spark Plugs said, “It was a great achievement by Charlie who is making a big name for herself not only in Britain but also in mainland Europe. We are proud to be supporting her in what promises to be a memorable season.”
