Pat Donellan from Moylough, Co. Galway is the winner of a Ford Fiesta in The Care Trust's fundraising draw which, as Ireland's biggest car giveaway, will see 36 cars up for grabs in 2012.

Commenting on his win, Pat said: "I am really thrilled to win a Fiesta in The Care Trust draw - we will be sharing the car amongst the family and we can't wait to get behind the wheel".

Tony Dempsey, The Care Trust Fundraising Agent in the area said: "Congratulations to Pat and family - we wish him many years of safe and happy motoring.  Without the support of Pat and thousands of other Irish people, The Care Trust wouldn't be able to provide funds for its valuable work. Set up more than fifty years ago, The Care Trust fundraises to provide essential funds to the Central Remedial Clinic (CRC), Rehab and the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital.  The money raised helps fund these organisations in their work with the many thousands of children and adults with physical, medical or intellectual disabilities, those who are socially disadvantaged and those requiring medical care.
