Reflecting the very positive opening sales figures for 2011, the 'Scrappage' figures, released by SIMI, have confirmed that Toyota is Number 1 in the marketplace for January, with some 24% of the 'Scrappage' linked sales of vehicles.
Commenting, David Shannon, Managing Director of Toyota Ireland said: "January sales across the industry have been very strong and undoubtedly the continuation of the 'scrappage' scheme by the Government has been a factor.
Naturally, we are very pleased that Toyota is number one brand for scrappage in the month of January.
