Suzuki Ireland has appointed Wayne Doolan as the new General Manager for Suzuki Cars and Marine. He replaces Niall O’Gorman who retired at the end of 2011 after 35 years in the business.


Educated in Terenure College, Wayne has been with Suzuki Ireland for the last 11 years in the position of Financial Controller. "I am excited to be taking charge of Suzuki in this challenging economic environment. Suzuki has been a stalwart in the Irish Motoring landscape over the last 30 years offering unparalleled value and reliability to Irish motorists" he said.

He went on to say, "I would like to wish Niall well in his retirement, his dedication and commitment to Suzuki has earned him a reputation of being one of the industries 'True Gentlemen'"

Married to Theresa, he has two children and lives in Sallins, Co. Kildare. Wayne is a sports fanatic with a particular passion for cycling and triathlons.
