Here is a situation when time was of the essence for a tow truck

operator called to recover a Mercedes in Dallas, Texas recently. The driver had failed to notice a construction crew at work and drove straight into an area of freshly poured cement. The driver had to be helped from the vehicle as it sunk down into the concrete.

The race was then on for a tow truck to arrive and pull the Mercedes from its predicament before it became permanently stuck in traffic. As you can see from the picture, the tow truck just about made it in time.
