This three-man canoe braved the Liffey Descent on 13 September, finishing second in their class. The three stalwarts were David Corcoran, Pat O’Carroll and Tom Gowran, and their participation was sponsored by Soltec (Ireland) Ltd, famous for car crushing, bumper recycling, gun cleaning etc (don’t forget the Hazbag).

Soltec are also art connoisseurs, and they are so taken by the beauty of the picture that they offer a prize to whoever comes up with the best caption. Entries should carry words like hazardous, recycling and Soltec. Email info@autobiz.ie with your best efforts.
