Tool and equipment specialist Sealey has introduced new top end battery chargers with a host of key features and benefits including a 5 year guarantee and zero volt charging.  These are currently available on special offer in the Sealey’s Summer Promotion.  

Models are available in three different output charges: 8A, 12A and 16A, (Part Nos.– SPBC8, SPBC12 & SPBC16) and these Fully Automatic 7-stage Battery Chargers are specifically designed for charging a variety of GEL, AGM, lead acid and calcium batteries with auto chemistry selection.  They are designed to automatically select and charge 6, 12, or 24V batteries, depending on the battery connected.  Zero-volt battery charging enables the recovery and charging of a completely discharged battery (providing any load is removed from the rechargeable battery).

All three Premier Battery Chargers feature an intuitive LED screen that displays illuminated charging stages, volts and amps output and battery capacity.  They also feature a compact design with unique retractable hanging hook, and a cable management system that allows the clips to be stored neatly away whilst not in use.  They are also fitted with reverse polarity, short circuit, over temperature and overcharging protection.  

Also new are Sealey’s SPBC30 and SPBC40 fully automatic 8-stage battery support units and chargers which are designed for charging a variety of EFB (stop/start), GEL, AGM, lead acid and calcium batteries with auto voltage selection.  These are available in either 30A or 40A options.

Both models automatically select and charge 6, 12, or 24V and there’s an additional function to charge lithium batteries via the selection button.  Zero volt battery charging enables recovery and charging of a completely discharged battery (providing any load is removed from the rechargeable battery).  Other features include an old battery sulfation repair function, reverse polarity, short circuit, over temperature and overcharging protection as well as a built-in cooling fan that only operates when required.  The 13.5V DC power supply for the battery support function assists the battery during prolonged electronic diagnostic checks and the intuitive LED screen displays charging voltage, current, battery capacity percentage, and illuminated charging stages.  Models are supplied with a 5 Year guarantee and benefit from a compact design which includes mounting brackets for permanent fitting.
