Ring and OSRAM partnership flourishes two years on

Against a backdrop of the Coronavirus pandemic, in which both OSRAM and Ring Automotive were able to remain safely open and trade successfully, the two companies have become even more integrated, maximising their efficiencies and expertise in bringing the highest quality products to market.

Ring Automotive’s warehouse in Leeds gives customers access to Ring, OSRAM and NEOLUX products to customers throughout the UK and Ireland. The warehouse has been in operation all day, every day, adhering to strict safety measures in place to allow for the shipment of both emergency orders and other customer orders. Fast delivery is also key as it ensures quicker access to the best performing and selling products from all three brands.

The success of the partnership has led to an increase in awards and recognition from leading automotive consumer magazines such as Auto Express and What Car? commending OSRAM on its market-leading, innovative range of bulbs and Ring on its expertise in inspection lamps and mechanic tools, tyre inflators and jump starters, to name a few.

Theresa Spencer, managing director, said, “Despite the Coronavirus pandemic and Brexit, we have continued with our plans undeterred, putting customers at the heart of everything we do, delivering quality products with excellent service. Demand for next-day delivery is increasing, and with e-commerce sites and various platforms making it easier than ever before to purchase a product at the touch of a button. We are responding to our customers’ needs, so they can respond to the changing market.”

Ring Automotive’s warehouse has been reconfigured to hold stock of OSRAM products. This ensures OSRAM customers in Ireland and the UK now get better stock availability and improved delivery times.

At the company headquarters in Leeds, Ring Automotive has Quality Assurance (QA) facilities, allowing the company to test all products on-site. This means customers can be assured that all products in its range perform as they should and are suitable for the people and vehicles using them.

“Without question,” said Theresa, “the ability to offer OSRAM and Ring brands alongside each other, gives customers greater choice of products, plus with central services like marketing, customer service, technical and sales now supporting both brands, customers have access to more materials than before to help grow their businesses.”
