Collectors with deep pockets have been given the very rare chance to own a true piece of motor racing history as Niki Lauda's Championship-Winning Ferrari F1 Car from 1975 is set to go to auction.

Lauda drove this Ferrari 312T to the 1975 F1 world championship. The example for sale is chassis 022, which was used in 5 Grand Prix during the season, qualifying on pole every time and taking a victory in France and a second and a third in the Netherlands and German respectively.

The car is being offered for sale by Gooding & Company as a part of its Pebble Beach event in the USA in August. If you have always wanted a classic F1 Ferrari then head over to the auction on August 16-17th. You might also want to make sure you have the $6-8 million estimated selling price in your bank account.
