Renowned lighting manufacturer, OSRAM, and its subsidiary, auto accessory giant, Ring Automotive, have won the Car Supplier of the Year – Innovation award at the distinguished IAAF Awards.

The aftermarket industry gathered in Milton Keynes recently for the prestigious IAAF Awards, during which the Car Supplier of the Year category is a highly anticipated accolade. OSRAM and Ring were announced as a finalist last month and have triumphed in the hotly contested category.

Marketing Director for Ring, Henry Bisson, commented, “We are absolutely thrilled to win this award, it’s such a competitive category, with incredible companies shortlisted, so to win it is such an honour for our company. The IAAF Awards are a fantastic event that brings people in the aftermarket together and we always enjoy the event, so this award win was just the icing on the cake of a fabulous night.”

Henry added, “2024 has been a fantastic year for both Ring and OSRAM, Ring celebrated its 50th birthday, OSRAM has been pioneering LED bulbs and its legal standing with more than 20 EU countries and both have been continuing to expand their product ranges to service the aftermarket industry.”

Reflecting on the award, Henry commented, “Technicians are always at the front of our mind when we create a new product and how this product can best assist them. Whether this means adding more features to tools – such as including a tyre inflator element to a jump starter – so they do not have to have as many tools, or launching brand new products, such the OSRAM NIGHT BREAKER 220 bulbs or Ring’s MAGFLEX1000 flexible worklamp, all is done with the technician at the forefront of our motivation and product development.”
