Monroe has dramatically expanded it range of Max-Lift gas springs, with full details in a new 2014  fully illustrated catalogue.

Monroe Max-Lift units are premium, original equipment-replacement springs that lift and support vehicle hatches, bonnets and boots. Monroe says each gas-charged Max-Lift unit can be installed in just a matter of minutes without special tools.

The new catalogue includes nearly 200 new SKUs, with a 20-percent increase in coverage of front bonnet/hatch springs and an 11-percent increase in rear boot coverage. The total range now comprises 1,048 exact-fit units covering virtually all popular light-vehicle applications sold in Europe since 1980.

“Gas charged lift supports are a high growth, high value opportunity for replacement parts providers and automotive workshops,” commented Eric Van Schuerbeeck, Tenneco ride control product manager, Europe Aftermarket. He added “Many vehicle owners are not aware that replacement springs are available to restore the safe, convenient operation of their hoods, hatches and bonnets. This is an excellent add on sale opportunity for millions of vehicles.”

Max Lift springs feature a superior piston rod finish and high strength seal to help ensure years of reliable service. A carefully calibrated, high pressure gas charge provides smooth, powerful support to hoods, hatches and bonnets of all sizes. Tenneco backs each Monroe Max Lift spring with a comprehensive two year warranty.

Max Lift springs are available from stockists nationwide.
