Thatcham, The Motor Insurance Repair Research Centre, has named Peter Shaw, as its next Chief Executive. He will take up his position in April and succeeds Peter Roberts who has been the head of the centre since 2001.

Peter Shaw said: “I am delighted to be joining the Thatcham team and looking forward to leading the organisation through the opportunities provided by the fast moving developments in the automotive and insurance sectors.”  Peter comes with over 20 years automotive experience with the AA and more recently has been developing the commercial side of the Centrica British Gas Business arm.
