Recession, what recession? Prestige carmaker Audi no doubt did not have the current economic conditions in mind when it planned to build the world’s largest Audi Centre, in West London some six years ago. However, now that the plan has come to fruition, the company is looking to the future with a new sense of optimism.
Located next to the elevated section of the M4, on one of the main routes into London, the premises cover 190,000 sq ft over seven stories, including three showroom floors and a conference centre. There is also a 32 bay workshop and basement parking, all manned by 100 staff. The whole project cost around £45 million to build.
