Mr Sparky joins in the fun at Run Silverstone

NGK’s Mr Sparky has been out and about meeting his fans as he prepares for the 2022 Virgin Money London Marathon. He was at the recent Run Silverstone event which attracted hundreds of men, women and children to the famous Northamptonshire race circuit.


Mr Sparky was joined by NGK Spark Plugs Marketing Manager Mark Hallam and National Field Sales Manager Stuart Bayne for the event which saw runners take part in 5k, 10k and half-marathon events.

Stuart, who goes everywhere with Mr Sparky, said, “Mr Sparky really enjoyed his day at Silverstone. He is really looking forward to raising money for charity by taking part in next year’s London Marathon but knows he needs to do some hard fitness work in preparation for the event.” Stuart added, “He felt quite tired after taking part in the 5k run but loved meeting up with the other competitors, many of whom are NGK customers, and had a thoroughly enjoyable time.”

Mr Sparky will be accompanying NGK when they attend Motorcycle Live at Birmingham’s NEC in December. The original equipment (OE) supplier of spark plugs, glow plugs and NTK Lambda and associated engine management sensors is due to exhibit at the show on December 4-12.
