Sports car maker Lotus is to open a new dealership with a difference. It will have its very own test track on hand, as the new dealer premises will be located on the Silverstone Circuit complex in the UK. The new facility will offer a 4,000 sq ft showroom for new and used car sales and a four bay service facility. Lotus says it will specialise in service and track preparation for both Lotus cars and other makes. The showroom is to be located on the in-field of the Stowe Circuit and will feature a test track with a low friction straight and turning circle.

Lotus is not the first car maker to forge links with Silverstone, as Porsche opened its Experience Centre next to the famous Hanger Straight last year and the circuit is also home to the Audi Driving Experience, and Nissan GT-R Academy.
