Gulf Oil Supply Company, part of Gulf Oil International, has announced that it has appointed a new Distributor, Rossmore Lubricants, to represent Gulf Lubricants throughout the UK and Ireland.

Rossmore Lubricants has signed an agreement to become the sole Importer and Distributor of the Gulf range of lubricants for these key markets and will look to commence activities before the end of 2021. With a current strong base in Ireland, the business has over 35 years of lubricant distribution experience with premium brands and, in the UK, over 30 years of direct selling experience within the Distribution, Franchised Workshop, Independent Workshop, Motorcycle and Heavy-Duty sectors.

Dr Ayham Ammora, Commercial Director, Gulf Oil Supply Company, said, “Gulf is an iconic brand with over a hundred-year history, inextricably linked with motorsports excellence and world class partnerships including McLaren and Manchester United. We are delighted to welcome Rossmore to our global network of partners and look forward to working with them on promoting Gulf in the UK and Ireland.”

Michael and John Walsh, Directors of Rossmore Lubricants, said, “We are extremely excited to have been given the opportunity to represent such an iconic brand in two key markets for Gulf Lubricants, across all sectors. The whole Team at Rossmore has a strong background in the Sales and Distribution of premium lubricant brands and we have established this business to give Gulf Lubricants the sole focus and attention we feel is required to succeed over the long-term.”

Gulf, a wholly owned entity of the Hinduja Group, is one of the largest privately-owned downstream companies, with a presence in over 100 countries worldwide. Gulf is also the majority shareholder in Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd, listed on the BSE, which is the leading marketeer of an extensive range of automotive and industrial lubricants in India.
