The Tarmac Rally Organisers Association(T.R.O.A.) has announced that Clonakilty Blackpudding have agreed to remain on board as title sponsor for the Tarmac Championship for the 2017 season.

Speaking earlier, David Gray chairman of the T.R.O.A. said, “We are very pleased the Clonakilty Blackpudding have extended their sponsorship of the Tarmac Championship to the end of 2017. We have a very cordial working relationship with Clonakilty Blackpudding and the partnership has proven to be very successful to date and with the increased competition in the championship brought about due to the new rules, the profile of the series is at the highest it has been in a number of years”.

Paddy Flanagan, the Championship Manager, said “Its fantastic news to have Clonakilty Blackpudding on board again for 2017. Having a committed sponsor allows the championship to grow and prosper and we have certainly seen the benefits of that so far this season”.

Colette Twomey, Managing Director of Clonakilty Blackpudding, said “We are happy to have committed to the Tarmac Championship for a further year. We feel the partnership has had a lot of benefits for us to date, and being the title sponsor has certainly spread awareness of the company throughout Ireland and the U.K.”.
