Predominantly known in the aftermarket for its quality clutch components and kits, Borg & Beck has announce the addition of braking products into it’s portfolio. The introduction will provide aftermarket professionals with a comprehensive range of matching original equipment quality braking products that will allow them to compete effectively in this important sector. Borg & Beck believes its strong brand image will also bring independent workshop a competitive advantage.

A core objective of the introduction is to ensure that the programme provides garages with a range of products that are fully ‘fit for purpose'. As a result, Borg & Beck pads are manufactured to match the OE fitment and can be fully relied upon to deliver OE quality performance. In addition to their quality, each pad set is specifically designed to reflect the original equipment supply (OES) product as distributed through the franchised dealer network. This means that when an OES pad set incorporates a chamfered edge, shim, slot, or includes a wear indicator lead, the Borg & Beck pad set does also.

This attention to detail is applied to all the products within the range, including the matching OE quality discs, which provide optimum range coverage for the Irish car parc.
The range is enhanced further with the inclusion of matching OE quality brake shoes and drums.

A detailed electronic parts catalogue for the range is available via the Borg & Beck WEBCAT, and this is to be followed by a printed catalogue in the very near future.

The new range will be distributed in Ireland by J&S Automotive and will be available from selected motor factors.
