Catalogue retailer Argos, who has stores all over Ireland, has warned customers that three child car seat should not be used.

Argos has identified a potential safety issue with Three Fisher Price branded car seats, which they manufacture under license. The safety restraints do not fully comply with their own test requirements and could compromise child's safety in the event of an accident.

Customers who have one of these car seats, are asked to stop using the seats immediately and return to an Argos store for a full refund. The company has opened a helpline for customers that are worried about the seats and have uploaded photographs of the recalled seats on their website. www.argos.co.uk
