3M have announced three new and exciting additions to its Paint Rectification Range, which the company says offer increased productivity while helping bodyshops deliver the best-looking finish possible.

The new 3M Hookit™ Trizact Fine Finishing Foam Disc is an innovative new product set to reinvent the process for paint rectification. 3M say the discs deliver better results and can help bodyshops improve both cycle times and customer satisfaction. The discs feature advanced TrizactTM technology which utilises a pyramid structure of multiple layers of fine grade abrasive mineral particles for long life and a consistent finish. This produces a uniform and consistent finish with reduced re-work, greatly reduces polishing time and reduces the amount of compounds used to produce the desired finish. The discs are also easier and less tiring to use for the operative.

3M™ Perfect-it™ III Quick Connect System is a new range of double-sided buffing pads that, when used with 3M's colour coded polishes and compounds, delivers a highly effective paint refinish system. Pads are available in standard and large sizes and are colour coded to fit with each polishing step. They also offer easy, fast changeover between pads with one connector fitting all and provide a perfect balance for extra life and control.

Completing the new additions, 3M™ Perfect-it™ Fast Cut XL is a brand new high performance compound formulated to give the same performance as 3M™ Perfect-it™ Fast Cut PLUS, but with the added benefit of greater coverage without drying up. This results in easier clean up, less compound splatter and less dust in the air and onto adjacent panels meaning a cleaner, faster finish.
