Derek Tohill scored a second place in the TouringCar final during the fifth round of the 2013 FIA European Rallycross Championshiip - RallycrossRX - at Hell, near Trondheim, in Norway, moving him to the top of the championship standings.

After the first day Tohill was third overall with a sixth and second fastest time in the opening heats. He followed this up on Sunday, with a fastest and a third fastest time in the remaining heats leading to gain an intermediate classification of second overall. Derek then claimed victory in his Ford Fiesta in the second TouringCar semi-final before finishing second to local driver Lars Oivind Enerberg in the final.

Tohill and his team now have a twelve point lead on Roman Castoral in the TouringCar standings with four more events to come. The next event takes place in Sweden on July 5th and 7th.
