Spray-on truck bedliners provide durability and protection in hard working pick-ups, but over time the liner can become damaged an unsightly. When this happens the only solution is to remove the liner and apply a new coating. However, as anyone who has ever tried to remove a truck bedliner manually will testify, this can be a very tough job.

Flameless heat tools from the Inductor can offer a very fast alternative when it comes to the removal of bedliners. It not only saves a huge amount of time, but also restricts the need to use expensive consumables and dangerous chemicals on the job.

The U-311 Glass Blaster attachment used with the Inductor Pro-Max, Pro-Max CE or Max removes spray-on-bedliners quickly and easily. Unlike traditional heating methods, the invisible heat created by induction heating provides a clean and fast way for removing objects bonded to sheet metal. The high frequency magnetic fields pass through non-metallic objects and once these magnetic fields reach the metal surface they heat the metal and release the bonding properties of adhesives and coatings.

The user simply attaches the U-311 Glass Blaster to their Pro-Max, Pro-Max CE or Max tool and sets the power to medium. They then need to score a small section of the bed liner with a putty knife and then heat this area with a back and forth motion. Once the surface is heated it can be easily removed with a suitable scraper.

You can see the process in the video below. For more information visit https://theinductor.co.uk/
