One product attracting special attention on the Ring stand at Automechanika was the RPPL1000 Lithium Professional Jump Starter.

The product shows how professional Jump starters have evolved with its light weight and compact dimensions in stark contrast to the huge heavy units that garages and car sales outlets have used over the years.

The starter is ideal for all petrol vehicles and diesel vehicles up to 10L, including motorcycles, cars, 4x4s, vans, commercial vehicles and boats. It has a built-in LED work light to allow use in darker conditions as well as a safety function (SOS) and weighs only 2kg, which is 75% lighter than equivalent Lead Acid jump starters. This makes it more mobile and easier to use in any situation, be that in a garage environment or out on the road.

Contained within the robust, hard-wearing casing is a lithium-ion battery that allows for fast recharging via the PD60W input. A fully charged unit will allow multiple starts. The battery charge level on the face of the unit provides a visual aid for the unit's charge status. The unit also has a power bank function and multiple safety protections to prevent damage to vehicle and user.

This Lithium Professional Jump Starter and other jump starters are available from Ring stockist nationwide.
