Battery specialist, GS Yuasa, has introduced Yu-Fit+, a powerful new battery validation tool. 

Yu-Fit+ is especially designed to meet the needs of modern vehicles with emissions reduction technology such as start – stop or regenerative braking. It is a next-generation battery configuration tool that professionally validates battery replacements with speed and simplicity. 

The tool can complete the validation process in as little as 60 seconds, streamlining battery replacement and avoiding system faults and warning lights. It offers secure vehicle access (VSA & SFD) and enables configuration on the latest models with locked-down ECUs, including VW Group vehicles.

Yu-Fit+ also offers user-friendly operation with a simple six-button interface designed for fast, intuitive use in both workshop and mobile environments.

The tool is powered via the OBD port, with no external batteries or cables needed. It also has an expanded memory to supports a wider range of vehicles, including those with advanced diagnostic systems.

Regular software updates will ensure forward compatibility with the latest vehicle models and security protocols via GS Yuasa’s PC Suite.
