First Line has added to its technical team with the appointment of Lee Morris as the company’s new technical trainer.

Lee has an impressive CV with almost 25 years of motor trader experience, spanning small garages, large franchised dealer groups and even a Formula 1 race team. He also has a strong training background having worked most recently as a young apprentice trainer with Jaguar/Land Rover. Lee will use his experience to play a key role in the development of new training initiatives for various levels of the First Line aftermarket supply chain.

First Line has also announced that it is bringing new blood into the industry by creating a number of apprentice positions at its distribution centre in Banbury, UK.   Dan Joyner, First Line’s managing director said: “We are working closely with our local college to provide a scheme to support those just entering the workplace and with the ultimate goal being to help develop the next generation of professionals in whatever field they finally settle.” He added, “So far we have introduced five apprenticeship positions, one in marketing, one in our IT department and three in product management.”
