Audi Ireland is pleased to announce that it is the official car partner to this year's Kerrygold Ballymaloe Literary Festival of Food and Wine.

This is the second year that Audi has partnered with the prestigious festival which takes place from 16th - 18th May at Ballymaloe House and Cookery School, in Shanagarry Co. Cork.

The event which attracted over 8,000 people last year brings some of the world's best known chefs, critics, authors, kitchen gardeners, foragers and wine experts to East Cork for a three day celebration of food, wine and literature. Over the course of the weekend festival goers can enjoy demonstrations, tastings, readings, talks and panel discussions in the tranquil surroundings of Ballymaloe.

As the official car partner to the event, Audi Ireland will provide the festival with a fleet of cars which will act as a shuttle for the high profile participants that include authors, chiefs and wine experts over the weekend.

Christian Gussen, managing director, Audi Ireland, commented: "It is a fantastic opportunity to partner with the Kerrygold Ballymaloe Literary Festival of Food & Wine for a second year. The festival celebrates excellence in the world of food and literature and is a fantastic fit for our brand. Our own brand ambassador, Rachel Allen, is involved in the festival and we are excited to work with Rachel on this event."

Darina Allen, festival director, Kerrygold Ballymaloe Literary Festival of Food and Wine says, "We are thrilled to work with Audi Ireland once again on this event. I would like to thank them for their continued support. I am sure our speakers will be delighted to be driven around in such style for the duration of the weekend."
