Schaeffler has added to its INA tensioner components portfolio by introducing a range of crank pulleys/tortional vibration dampers.
The global technology giant has announced it has brought out a range of 72 part numbers and it says it will continue to add to the range by introducing a further 60 part numbers over the coming months.
Malcolm Short, Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket Technical Services Manager, said, “The INA range has grown enormously over the past year and these new additions will further enhance our Front End Auxiliary Drive (FEAD) offering to our distributors and their independent workshop customers. As the largest OE supplier of FEAD components, INA can offer the largest and most up-to-date original equipment content range in the aftermarket.”
The news follows the company’s recent introduction of timing belt kits with OE quality water pumps which provides an enhanced range in line with the service offered by franchised dealers that has proven to be a big success. The crank pulleys/TVDs include new components for a range of popular vehicles which are being worked on daily in independent garages. These include parts for the PSA Berlingo, C1, C2, C3, 4, C4, Picasso, C5, Xsara, Xsara Picasso, 107, 206, 307, 407, 1007 and Partner 1.4HDi and 1.6HDi, Ford C-Max, Fiesta, Focus II and Fusion 1.4TDCi and 1.6TDCi, Mazda 2, 3, 1.4CD and 1.6 Di Turbo, and Mini Cooper D -03/2003-, and for the Alfa Romeo Mito 1.4, 1.4 Multi Air and 1.4 Tjet, Chrysler Ypsilon 1.2 and Fiat 500, 500L 1.2 and 1.4, Bravo II 1.4, Panda 1.1, 1.2 and 1.4, Punto 1.2 , 1.2 16v and 1.4 and Stilo 1.2 16v and 1.4 16v (with air-con) 09/2003-.
In addition, there’s a new crank sensor pulse ring for vehicles that include the GM Captiva 2.0D, PSA C-Crosser 2.2HDi, C4, C5, C6, C8, DS4, DS5, 307, 308, 407, 508, 607, 807, 3008, 4007 and 5008 2.0HDi, Ford C-Max, Focus, Galaxy, Grand C-Max, Kuga, Mondeo and S-Max 2.0TDCi, Jaguar XF 2.2D, Land Rover Freelander 2 and Evoque 2.2 SD4, TD4 and eD4, and Volvo C30, C70, S40, S80, V40, V50 and V70 2.0D, 11/2004-.
In total there have been 116 new INA lines covering primary kits, FEAD singles, FEAD kits and Over Running Alternator Pulleys (OAPs) introduced in just three months.
