NGK Ambassador Charlie Martin has claimed her first race win in the 2022 Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America championship and now sits just three points behind the leader in the Championship.  

Charlie and her teammate Jason Keats were out on track for the fourth round of the championship at Road America and followed their race victory with a further podium finish.

A sensational drive from Charlie and Jason saw them tackle extreme heat, safety cars and oil on the circuit to carve their way through the field from P6 to claim their first victory on the season. Charlie also recorded the fastest lap of the race in the LB Cup Class. 

In the second race of the weekend, Charlie and Jason replicated their form as they again progressed through the field to finish the race in second place.

Charlie said, “Winners at Road America! It feels really special to get our first win of the season and especially after such a tough race – P6 to P1 in class with safety cars, oil everywhere, and over 90 degrees heat to deal with. Another strong result on Sunday saw us collect a P2 which makes it a really great points haul for us. Mega job from Jason all weekend and the whole team at Dream Racing – roll on VIR in a few weeks' time!"
