One of the world’s largest automotive pump manufacturers, Airtex, has been honoured with an award from Schaeffler, one of its customers, recognising its commitment to a collaborative relationship.

Launched in 1935, Airtex is a dedicated original equipment  manufacturer, based in Zaragoza in Spain. The fully ISO certified 13,000 sqm plant employs almost 150 staff and has the capacity to produce in excess of five million water pumps every year. Its aftermarket range encompasses fuel pumps, water pumps and water pump kits, but it is with water pumps that Airtex supplies Schaeffler under its INA brand.

It was during the Schaeffler Supplier Day, that Airtex was recognised with a Schaeffler Supplier Award for ‘outstanding collaborative achievements’.

Group Brand & Marketing Manager (Europe), Sam Robinson, said, “We’re thrilled to be given this prestigious award from Schaeffler, an iconic and globally recognised and respected brand. We have a very strong relationship with the Schaeffler team which continues to grow from strength to strength, and this award pays testament to the premium Airtex quality which we are trusted to supply them with.”
