Although commercial vehicle sales in Ireland are still very sluggish, there are some more positive signs that the global CV market is recovering; with Scania saying it intends to re-expand its workforce. The truck making giant is set to rehire about 500 employees at its European plants.


Scania Executive Vice President, Anders Nielsen said, “In response to the continued recovery in global demand, we need to increase our workforce in order to handle a higher production rate during the third quarter.”
