The Vehicle Standards Section of the Road Safety Authority has

announced that it is currently reviewing all maximum vehicle and trailer weights in relation to commercial vehicles.

While this is taking place, the derogation for 42 tonne five axle vehicles has been extended until September 30. Transport Minister Noel Dempsey has approved this derogation.
