Check for valuables and for children

In the heat of the moment when a car is towed away, it is not uncommon for a driver to leave something important in their car. However, a mother from Phoenix, Arizona, took this to the extreme when she left her two-year-old daughter in a car that was being towed to a police compound. Worse still, the little girl was also missed by Police officers at the incident and the tow truck driver.

In a scene reminiscent of the film “Home Alone”, it was a full half hour before the mother realised one of her children was unaccounted for. The agitated mother had got into a heated argument with police, which resulted in them confiscating her vehicle. She gathered up her other four children, but somehow left the youngest asleep in the back seat. Because of heavily tinted windows no one spotted the girl as the car was lifted. She was found a short time later, safe and sound at the car pound having slept through the entire incident.
