A Humdinger of a recovery

As every recovery man knows, jobs come in all shapes and sizes. It is not often however, that you are called on to tow a 30ft long stretched Hummer. This is what Dublin based Talbot Motors faced recently, when an alternator problem left the 14-seater limo stranded. John Dowling of Talbot Motros says, “Because of the length and the weight of the Hummer it is not easy to lift and move, but our Defender recovery vehicle proved more than up for the job.”

Talbot’s special Land Rover Defender was built by Jordan Recovery and allows for recovery in difficult areas such as underground car parks. As this picture shows the Defender also packs a punch and can quickly recover heavy oversized vehicles such as the Hummer.
