Windsor has renewed its sponsorship as the Official Vehicle Supplier to Leinster Rugby for a new three year term.

Windsor has been the team’s Official Vehicle Supplier since 2015 and the new partnership represents a strengthening of its relationship as the driving force behind the team.

The partnership agreement, which is valued at €1.5 million over three years, will see Windsor supply over 30 cars from the Nissan range to Leinster Rugby’s players and coaching staff.

The vehicles include the 100% electric Nissan LEAF, which has been Ireland’s best-selling EV for over a decade, the stylish Nissan Micra, the all new Nissan Juke and the spacious Nissan Qashqai and Nissan X-Trail.

The team will also be supplied with vehicles from Nissan’s commercial range including the fully electric e-NV200, the mid-size NV300 and boldly styled NV400.

Windsor is an authorised dealer for Nissan, Renault, Dacia, Opel, Peugeot, Citroën and Mazda. It is also one of the biggest sellers of used cars and it operates a rigorous certified programme that allows customers to buy with confidence and to enjoy peace of mind.

The company operates showrooms in Dublin, Galway, Louth, Meath and Wicklow. It has also pioneered online car sales in Ireland and visitors to www.windsor.ie can view, reserve, fully finance and buy a car without leaving their home.

Windsor is also home to Ireland’s first ever motor mall. Windsor MotorMall at exit 5 off the M50, brings multiple brands
together under one roof. It includes an EV Hub, Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) Centre, an AfterCare workshop with 16 work bays and visitors can view over 400 new and used cars on site.

“We are delighted to extend our partnership as Official Vehicle Supplier to Leinster Rugby. This is a fantastic partnership for Windsor with both brands sharing a proud history of achievement as well as a driving ambition to always be at the top of their game,” said Andrew O’Toole, Head of Nissan Sales at Windsor.

“Windsor employs over 380 staff and all Windsor dealerships are at the heart of their local communities. This partnership presents a unique platform to work with Leinster Rugby in a way that engages our staff, customers and Leinster Rugby fans across the province. Each of us are facing new and exciting challenges as we start into 2021 and we look forward to meeting them together,” he added.

Kevin Quinn, Head of Commercial and Marketing at Leinster Rugby said, “Leinster Rugby is delighted to continue our long running and successful partnership with Windsor as our Official Vehicle Supplier.

“The Nissan fleet plays a huge part in the operations and logistics of the team and we are proud to have the Leinster Rugby crest and colours on the cars and team kit vans that travel all over Ireland and indeed the UK and France.

“Leinster Rugby is very fortunate and appreciative to have the backing of superb commercial partners such as Windsor, who have supported and stood by us through the worst of COVID-19.”
