The Vehicle Repairers Association (VRA) has launched a new poster campaign, aimed at helping members to highlight their professionalism and the fact that they are fully compliant with environmental regulations.

The poster uses an image of a doctor with a chain saw and makes the point that people would not go to an uncertified medial practitioner.

Sean Hegarty of the VRA says, “Much of the work that accident repairers do is safety critical, so we want to make the point that motorists should only deal with highly professional repairers, who take their legal and environmental responsibilities seriously.”

He adds, “It is also worth remembering that certified repairers, such as VRA members, often build their business on a strong local reputation and word of mouth recommendation. Not all repairers take this aspect of their business so seriously and motorists should remember that repairers who do not register with their local authority might not be around in the future, if the customer needs to return to them with a problem.”

Posters have been issued to all VRA members and can also be made available in newspaper advert and flyer format. For more information call 087-271-0524 or visit www.vra.ie.
