Toyota Ireland has confirmed its sponsorship of the new "Rugby Live" show hosted by rugby expert Brent Pope on Radio NOVA 100FM, which will feature all the highs and lows of the Rugby World Cup tournament broadcast to the 143,000 weekly listeners of Radio NOVA.

Kicking off on the 19th September, the Toyota-sponsored two-hour segment will air Saturdays at 1pm and will feature results and banter from the Cup, as well as the seriously addictive music that NOVA has become synonymous for, over a seven-week period until October 31st.  The sponsorship will include a combination of live and recorded sponsor credits for Toyota as well as inclusion in rugby coverage across NOVA's schedule, covering all events as they happen on and off the pitch during the World Cup.

SMichael Gaynor, Director of Marketing, Toyota Ireland, said:  "As a long-time supporter of rugby in Ireland, and with Ireland's captain Paul O'Connell being a long-standing Toyota brand ambassador, we're delighted to be involved with bringing the excitement of the tournament to Irish fans. It's a pleasure to work alongside such a rugby legend as Brent Pope as he keeps the listeners up to date with the latest team news and analysis on the show."

NOVA's CEO & Programme Director, Kevin Branigan, said, "Everybody knows Brent Pope! We're really pleased to welcome him to the sports lineup on our radio station. We provide a great mix of music and sport on Saturday afternoons, proving very popular with radio listeners, and it's superb to bring such a well-known and liked talent to our radio station. As a sponsor Toyota brings a rich heritage of support to Irish rugby and we are delighted to be working with them during the Rugby World Cup on NOVA."
