It is a car that showcases two design ideas that could have a major impact on the future of motoring. Designed by a UK Automotive design consultancy and developed by MIRA, the vehicle is based on a normal Skoda Fabia and is called the H4V. But here is the clever stuff. The car has been turned into a Hybrid model using a retro fitting kit, and the batteries used for the electrical power can be removed and brought to a normal electric socket for recharging. The H4V can achieve a 61% fuel saving and cut exhaust emissions by 39%.
MIRA says that retro fit technology is close to commercial viability and project that retro kits could cost as little as €2,500
