A series of three MechanExpert Technical Roadshows took place in Cork, Killarney and Waterford last week. The events were very well attended with high calibre technicians from each area all giving very positive feedback on both the format and content of the evenings.

The events were organised by MechanExpert, the online information and training resource, and featured technical experts from leading component suppliers, giving presentations and demonstrations of the latest developments in their field as well as being on hand to answer any technical questions. The objective is to boost the technical knowledge and practical skills of independent garages so that they are confident tackling increasingly complex repairs and diagnostics.

The roadshows featured leading suppliers including; Apec, Bosch, Comma, FAG, Gates, Hella, INA, Kilen, KYB, LuK and Mann Filter. On each evenings there were three technical talks by selected suppliers while each also had demonstrations and product displays available.

After the success of these three roadshows, and the previous three held in Belfast, Letterkenny and Galway late last year, plans are now being put in place for further events in other areas.
