Paint supplier Spies Hecker has highlighted the great finish results and considerable cost savings that its customers have been able to make using Permasolid HS Speed Clear Coat 8800, an advanced high solid lacquer.

The product has been very well received by both existing Spies Hecker paint users and many new customers because of its flexibility and exceptionally fast drying times. At 60°C the clear coat dries in as little as 5 minutes allowing for faster job turnaround and dramatically reducing booth running cost.

The product is fast and easy to use, as demonstrated in one of the latest videos on the Spies Hecker website (www.spieshecker.com). It requires only a one and a half coat application, which again improves job cycle times and also means reduced material consumption and further cost savings.

Spies Hecker say that Permasolid HS Speed Clear Coat 8800 also produces a finish of exceptional gloss and flow, with a mirror-like effect which is tough and durable producing a super hard paint surface. The product, which is also very fast drying in air dry situations, can also be polished in just ten minutes after cooling from the booth or in just 90 minutes where it is air dried. The availability of three different VHS Speed Hardeners means the lacquer can be easily adapted to different drying conditions.
