Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket will have a major presence at this year’s Equip’ Auto exhibition in Paris. The company will have two stands at the biennial international trade fair in October devoted to garages, distributors and to its latest technological innovations.

In Hall 5 Schaeffler will place particular emphasis on its LCV and double clutch programmes and offer six technical demonstrations per day. Three Schaeffler brands, LuK clutches, INA belt system components and FAG wheel bearings, will be on display.

On the aftermarket side, visitors will find the full spectrum of products and services available from the group together with a programme specifically focused on transmission components. With regard to original equipment, the emphasis will be placed on technological innovation, in particular with the presentation of the latest version of E-Wheel Drive. Presented in the form of a concept car based on a Ford Fiesta platform, it comprises a highly integrated wheel hub drive in which all of the elements required for drive, deceleration and driving safety are housed within the wheel assembly. With its impressive performance, the jury has shortlisted it for the ‘Grand Prix de l'Innovation’ in the ‘OEM and New Technologies’ category.

The Schaeffler stands at Equip’ Auto are 5F060 and 5F071. The event runs from October 16-20th  at the Parc des Expositions, Paris Nord Villepinte.
