Schaeffler returns to face-to-face training

With COVID restrictions starting to ease, the Schaeffler REPXPERT technical team has announced it is resuming face-to-face training, with the first session of what it hopes will be a return to pre-pandemic levels of hands-on training activities with professional technicians across the UK and Ireland.

The restrictions have obviously not dimmed the appetite of technicians keen to attend Schaeffler’s live events, as the first LuK 2CT Double Clutch training course, due to be held at the Tool Connection in Warwickshire, is already 100% oversubscribed.

The IMI certified course will be presented by Schaeffler Technical Manager and renowned REPXPERT Alistair Mason, who will introduce Schaeffler and its brands, before providing an overview of double clutch transmission technology and explaining the operation, components, diagnosis, removal, installation and tooling required for all popular double clutch systems including VAG DSG, Renault/Ford DPS6 and Fiat/Alfa Romeo DDCT 6 systems.

“Despite the obvious success of our online ‘Tea-break training’ modules, which were watched by literally hundreds of attendees, it’s still great to be back in the field and provide our training to technicians face-to-face” said Alistair.

“The REPXPERT philosophy of equipping technicians with the products and knowledge to carry out the best possible repair, first time every time, runs through all of our training platforms, but it’s the live events that we enjoy the most, as you get to engage with people in the most natural and effective way, which is one-on-one.”

Information on all Schaeffler training courses, as well as it products and systems, fitting instructions, labour times and much more can be found on the REPXPERT workshop portal at www.repxpert.co.uk or by using the REPXPERT app, which is available free for all iOS and Android devices from the relevant app store.
