Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket has added two important new kit ranges to its Original Equipment INA tensioner parts portfolio, INA timing belt kits with water pump and INA Front End Auxiliary Drive (FEAD) kits.

The INA timing belt kits with water pump comprises belt/belts, tensioners, idler/deflection pulleys and an original equipment quality water pump. The initial range comes with 121 references but there are plans to introduce a further 60 over the coming months.

Malcolm Short, Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket Technical Services Manager, said “We have decided to introduce a range of timing belt kits with OE quality water pumps to offer our distributors and their independent garage customers an even better solution. We wanted to introduce an enhanced range in line with the service offered by franchised dealers.” He added, “The first phase comprises kits for many popular vehicles and we intend to bring in a second phase of new part numbers by Christmas.”

Initial timing belt kits with water pumps have been released for vehicles that include the Ford B-Max, C-Max, Fiesta VI, Focus C-Max, Focus II, Focus III, Fusion, Grand C-Max, Mondeo 1.25, 1.4 and 1.6, Mazda 2 1.25, 1.4 and 1,6 2003-, and Volvo S40 and V50 1.4 and 1.6 2004-. There are also kits for the Alfa Romeo Mito 1.4 and Fiat 500, Doblo, Idea, Panda, Punto 1.2 and 1.4, 2004-, and VAG’s Ibiza, Fabia, Octavia, Caddy, Golf Plus, Golf V and VI, and Polo 1.4 16v, 10/2001-.

Meanwhile light commercial vehicles are also catered for with kits for vehicles including the PSA Relay and Boxer 2.2 HDi 04/2002-, and VW LT Transporter 2.5TDi 01/1996-07/2006.

The INA FEAD kits currently total 22 part numbers, each containing the belt/belts, tensioners, idler/deflection pulleys, Over Running Alternator Pulleys (OAPs) and water pump where the pump is driven by the FEAD system. Two stretch belts for BMW are also included in the range.

Malcolm Short added: “This is a second major development by INA. We have initially introduced 22 references but plan to grow this to 79 shortly. As the largest OE supplier of FEAD components, we continue to offer the best and most up-to-date OE content range in the aftermarket.”
