Save time and headaches with Protec control arms

Protec has reported a big take up on its initiative to combat a common problem with ball joints on the Renault Laguna and Renault Trafic, Opel Vivaro and Nissan Primastar vans. Because the ball joint is riveted to the arm it is a difficult, time consuming and potentially dangerous job to remove, involving the drilling of the rivets. Then even if this ball joint can be successfully replaced, the repair will not be 100% unless the bushes are replaced as well, adding more time and cost.

The simple Protec solution to the problem is to replace the complete arm. The Protec complete arm with joint and bushes, comes in original equipment quality and at a price, which is equivalent to the usual cost of the ball joint, and bushes on their own. The big bonus for garages is that they can save around two hours fitting time and have complete confidence in the repair.

This is an example of how Protec “thinks outside of the box” when it comes to common parts problems.
