Undoubtedly one of the most striking stands at Automechanika was from German spray gun and equipment supplier SATA. With the theme of "Come fly with me”, the stand featured a mock up of a passenger jet and staff dressed in airline type uniforms. Visitors could board the plane to discuss the very latest developments in the SATA range.

Two new special edition spray guns were on display. The SATAjet® 5000 B PHASER™, is a very exclusive gun developed in co-operation with the Porsche Design Studio. It features exceptional optics, materials and an advanced design concept in a technological package that also offers the same performance as the highly respected  SATAjet® 5000 B premium spray gun.

In line with the "Come fly with me" theme a limited edition version of the SATAjet 5000 B gun, the Aviator, was also on display in a Pop Art "flying” design. Although a fully functioning gun, SATA say that this is another sought after collector’s edition that many refinishers will be proud to put on display.

SATA also previewed a new extension to the SATA air vision 5000 breathing protection programme, with a new stand-alone SATA air warmer and the SATA air cooler offering the possibility to adapt the breathing air temperature to specific requirements. The SATA air cooler attaches directly to one of the already existing adaptor plates on the SATA air regulator belt and can be quickly connected to the air regulator or air carbon regulator, while the breathing protection hood is then connected to the SATA air cooler. The cooling or heating capacity can be manually adjusted in seven convenient steps on the regulation wheel, while an integrated silencer provides for a reduced sound level. These new equipment items will be available in early 2017.
