As well as an impressive stand at the CV show in Birmingham, Ring Automotive also had a separate Commercial Vehicle Bulb Workshop Demonstration Room, where staff were able to provide visitors with a very practical insight into the importance of fitting high quality bulbs.
Inferior bulb construction, raw materials and design can often mean headlight misalignment, a major cause of test failures, as well as a host of other safety and durability issues.
In its demonstration room, the Ring team were able to show how superior filament technology can drastically improve beam alignment and how the construction of a bulb can differ, resulting in drastic differences in resistance to vibrations.
Ring is the only UK company to have a fully equipped lighting laboratory on site at its production centre and it used some of its research and development equipment to show the superior attributes of its bulb range. In particular, the reinforced filament technology that goes into Ring bulbs was highlighted, including an underwater bulb breakage comparison test, to show the higher levels of protective gas in Ring filaments.
The quality on offer from Ring products such as the TruckMasterHDLL bulb, means that its bulbs offer an extended service life, something that can provide substantial cost savings through reduced vehicle downtime and lower maintenance costs.
