This time they will make the journey in a new Renault Captur to discover the best of what Ireland has to offer for the new series of the award winning The Holiday Show  - Destination Ireland, which kicked off last night on TV3, and runs every Wednesday at 8pm for six weeks.

This action-packed series will see Ciara and Jon explore the finest home-grown holiday destinations in Wicklow, Kilkenny, Cork, Kildare, Westmeath and the stunningly picturesque Shannon region. Hopping from one breath-taking location to the next, the pair will take in some of Ireland’s best-loved spots including The Wild Atlantic Way, as well as its many hidden
treasures.

The first episode last night saw Ciara and Jon take a trip back to Ciara’s hometown of Kilkenny. They delved into Kilkenny’s hurling culture, supported the local team at the County Championship final, and even learned how to make their own hurley. Over the six weeks the inquisitive duo will explore the depths of Ireland’s hidden holiday treasures for thrill seekers and
luxury junkies alike, making sure there’s something for the whole family.
