There has been a widely positive reaction to recent news that Automechanika will make its debut in the UK next year. Building on the success of the Frankfurt show over many years, Automechanika events now take place in countries right across the globe and in 2016 there will be a new venue at the Birmingham NEC.

The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) will partner with world’s biggest trade show organiser Messe Frankfurt to launch Automechanika Birmingham which will take place from 7th to 9th June 2016. The event will bring together hundreds of automotive supply and aftermarket companies with national and international buyers.

The SMMT says the launch of Automechanika Birmingham reflects the vibrant state of automotive manufacturing and the aftermarket in Britain.
The show, which has been licensed to Forest Exhibitions Ltd. by Messe Frankfurt Exhibitions GmbH and is expected to play host to around 250 exhibiting companies and 5,000 trade visitors in Hall 9 of the NEC.
