The all-new Mazda6 was announced as the winner of D Segment category at the 2013 Motorcheck.ie Fleet Car Awards, fighting off tough competition from Honda, Hyundai, Skoda and VW.

The 27 shortlisted contenders for the 2013 Motorcheck.ie Fleet Car Awards were subjected to vigorous testing and analysis before the category winners were determined. Marks were awarded to the car’s styling, quality, engine and driving performance, equipment levels, safety, residuals and running costs. 

Explaining their selection of the all-new Mazda6 as segment winner, the expert adjudication panel summarized:  “Stunning looks, lovely drive and smooth ride together with ample boot space.”
