At the many exhibitions and trade shows it attends all over Europe, Pichler is one company that always has a throng of people at its stand, keen to get information on its specialist automotive tools range.

The Mechanex Show in Sandown was no exception, with the Pichler team busy throughout the two days dealing with technician enquiries.

Now in business for 35 years, Pichler designs, manufactures and distributed specialist automotive tools with a range now consisting of over 12,500 items. The emphasis is firmly on innovation and problem solving with specialist tools developed for particular repairs and maintenance tasks on many common vehicle applications. The tools allow technicians to complete a vast range of jobs more safely, professionally and effectively, while also offering some very significant time savings.

The company has developed specific expertise in several product areas including modern common rail diesel engines.

Proving especially popular with visitors to Mechanex was the Pichler Universal Suspension Arm Lever (Part No. 62016700). Designed for single operative operation, this special tool is designed to connect to the underside of the car, easily lowering the suspension arm to allow a technician to carry out work safely. It locks the lower arm down throughout, allowing controlled alignment and easy reassembly after the work is completed.
