OPTIMAL expands coil spring portfolio

OPTIMAL has further expanded its range of coil springs and introduced an enhanced product choice for customers. The company says the OE quality range now includes two range options, its AF premium line and the new IF standard line.

OPTIMAL says that although suspension springs are designed to last the lifespan of a vehicle, as the central link between the wheels and the vehicle body, these springs are put under immense strain through heavy loads, poor road conditions and winter gritting, which all reduce their lifespan. This means they can often become damaged and require replacement.

The company recommends that two identical new springs are fitted per axle if a crack or fracture is identified when changing a wheel or conducting a visual inspection. OPTIMAL now offers two lines of springs for making these repairs, giving garages the choice between AF premium line and the new IF standard line.

The IF standard line of springs has been designed for more universal use because it covers the same range of vehicles as the AF spring  range but with fewer parts to choose from. In contrast, the AF premium line of springs includes more varieties with different specifications.
Customers can now choose from nearly 1,000 parts in the IF standard line of springs and over 4,500 in the AF premium line.

OPTIMAL says that all of the springs offer high quality performance and are TÜV-certified. They are available from OPTIMAL stockists and distributed in Ireland by Somora.
